I just bought a gamo big cat .177 to eliminate some crows in town that have been killing all my baby birds. Got it for $150 and it shoots good I like it and its quiet cant wait to do a little trigger work to it next weekend.

I hope to take some slack out of it and maybe make it a little crisper. I sighted it in the other day it shoots good at 40 yards it shoots 3 shot groups the size of a quarter.

I think the trigger is adjustable, I have the Gamo Recon Whisper and it has an adjustable trigger. You're going to love the rifle, Gamo makes a great gun.

I've been using these cleaning pellets,
http://www.amazon.com/Beeman-Quick-Cleaning-Pellets-100ct/dp/B0018LA28U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1371994500&sr=8-3&keywords=Cleaning+pellets
For a break barrel, use at least 3 or it will damage the breach, just like dry firing a break barrel will.
