I EDC a Benchmade 940 or my EDCForums Spyderco Native 5 Moonglow as my main blade, and my Leatherman Original Wave second model as well.

That's why I haven't been on here a lot lately, I've been pretty active on EDC Forums.

A shooting buddy (Fmr. AF Sp, PRJ, and Ground defender) just dropped a whole bad of old gear he's not using anymore. He had given me an Uncle Mikes's holster about 6 months ago and txt me that he had found the Kydex add ons for it. Showed up with a Small duffle bag of "extra" stuff. After getting injured overseas as a PJ, he became an SP/ Ground defense operator until he finished his 20, now he is a Supv. For a local security co. I'll take a few pics...but among the stuff was an old Gerber Mk1!!! That I have not had since the 80's!!

It is hard to get an affordable knife made of high carbon steel anymore, unless you are happy running around with an Old Hickory kitchen knife on your belt. I prefer the Buck 110 for EDC but I am redneck who who isn't restricted to a pocket knife.

I like the hollow ground blades on Buck knives. There is not need to set the edge on a hollow ground Buck knife, it will shave you right out of the box. Just use a chefs steel or a ceramic rod to to touch up the edge your Buck knife.

Once you use a whetstone or mechanical sharpener on a Buck knife it is not hollow ground any longer. If you have to sharpen a knife with a guide you are better off with a Kershaw.

I carry a KaBar TDI and an MTech everyday. Both are phenomenal.
