Wolf primers for reloading??
Greetings All:
Has anyone used Wolf primers for reloading shotshells and .45 ACP pistol loads? Just wondering how they worked for you and did you find them to corrode after using? THANKS in advance, look forward to your replies. Lastcast Ranger Recon, Class of 67 |
I've used them didn't notice anything different about them except they cost less.

I've never used them personally but I know several people who have with no issues. Once I run thru my supply of CCIs I might give them a try.
|
I've used the Wolf SP,SPM,LR and LRM primers and have only had a few issues with the LRM primer not going off on the first strike. I was trying them in an old rifle that has a weak firing pin spring so I just use Win. primers in it till I can get the spring replaced. The LRM prime have a harder cut and work in my SKS rifle and other military bolt guns just fine.

I use them in 308 30-06 and 223. I cant tell thedifference. They are non corrosive but are a little harder than the ones produced here. You will have issue in firearms that have worn or weaker firing pin springs.
