I sure do see the word Lee a lot in here, the rumors of Lee products being cheap/awful/garbage/junk must be true.

Just got into reloading with the Lee Anniversary press. Need a better scale.
Getting into casting my own bullets later this month.

The Lee scales that came with my Classic Turret Press Kit (from Cabela's) were defective from the start. I bought the RCBS 5-0-5 scales t replace them. Everything else from Lee I own has been fine, even had them custom make the Lee Factory Crimp Die for my 9mm Makarov die set. I plan on having them cut some pistol seating plugs for the Hornady XTP bullets in 9mm, 9-Makarov and 45ACP to keep the bullets from getting distorted when seated with the standard seating plugs.

I have several presses.

My first was the RCBS RockChucker II single stage press. Then I bought the Dillon RL 550B progressive manually indexed press. Next came my Hornady Lock-N-Load AP press and I upgrading it now with the EZ-Ject System - I have about 18 shell plates that are getting modified by Hornady. My last press is the Sinclair Arbor press with hand dies from Wilson for precision use.

I have several Lee Handloader "Wack-Em" kits!!!!!!!!

My next press is going to be a MEC 9000 Shotgun Press!!

Doug

I started with a kit my friend sold me in 1985...RCBS single stage with scale and powder measure and Foster trimmer all for $50! Got tired real fast of that and got a turret...don't remember the brand but the shellholder moved around and and the turret was stationary. Then I got real and bought a Dillon 550. Now I use the RL 1050B....makes the 550 archaic by comparison!!

I have a Dillon 550b, Lee Challenger, Lyman Spar-T, and a Lee Classic Turret.

Lately, the LCT has been out on my bench the most. It's great for load development when you are working with several guns at a time. The 550b has probably cranked out the most rounds. But I put it away when my handgun range ammo buckets are full.

a very old RCBS RC-5. lots of RCBS dies and Lee dies. i have had very good luck with Lee dies and find them just as good as my RCBS dies. my next press is going to a either a turret or progressive for pistol ammo reloading, but havent decided which one yet.
