Same here in Oklahoma 3 boxs per cal. At Walmart that's if they even get any in. Academy sports here has a 1 box per cal. And limit to 3 boxs.. And when they get a truck it's still gone buy noon time.. I just wait my turn in line and b proud get my limit if they even have what I need.. One these days ill b able to get back to the range if they haven't closed up shop yet..

I believe they're limiting purchases to limit their liability in the event that some nut bar that buys a huge cache from them and then goes and uses it to perpetrate some mass killing.
This way they can say "hey we ONLY sold him 3 boxes, don't sue US!!"

Just thinking litigiously, you know how some Americans can get, all some people want to do is look for someone to sue.

Wal-Mart, like many other responsible merchants, is limiting a scarce resource so that the maximum number of customers can have a small amount rather than allowing the "mom n pop" from the LGS to come buy it all up and resell it at scalper prices.
