Ours does not have the ammo locked in case, it is just on the shelf

I live in Florida, and have found Wally World ammo going up. Fedreal 9 mm at about $12.47 for 50. but still less the $20 for Federal box of 100. I have noticed shortages lately. Like others said, I hope it is not due to the upcoming election. I do think it is a reminder to vote for Romney.

Three years ago the locker was always empty. for the last almost two years it was good, and now it is shakey again. I hope it is an aberration and not a trend.

Im assuming that the pending election has at least a partial effect on the prices and shortages. I just hope we don't hear from the manufactures that they couldn't anticipate the demand this time!

Huh I dont have that problem at the one by me. I normally go there after work around 12am and have no problem. They even go check out back if what I want isnt out. And its the cheapest in town.

Never had a problem at any Wally World I go to. They bend over backwards to help me. 19.99 for 100rds of 9mm and 17.47 for 50rds of .45. Tula is 9.98 for 50 rds of 9mm and 14.97 for .45. I buy lots of ammo from them. Enjoy clowning with the people who work there. I show them a little respect and get treated the same. I live in a small town and that helps.

My local Wal-Mart, (Glendale, Arizona), has Federal Champion 9 MM for $12.97 for a 50 round box. And $19.97 for the 100 round Value Pack. They never have the Value Packs in stock. Cabela's is cheaper for 50 box 9 MM FMJ loads.

I have put some deep thought into your question, and here is what I came up with:

"It sells out just as soon as we put it on the shelf, it is a losing battle to keep ordering it....."
