Woo hoo!

My local Wal Mart had something other than .270....

Bought my three boxes and so did my wife. Normal prices, too!

Walmart 100 rounds of federal 9mm comes out to be about 23 per round.

And I get it, when available.
I recently realized that my closest WM sell Federal FMJ 9mm for $21.37 / 100 & $13.97 / 50, while another WM 30 miles up the road has it priced at $19.96 / 100 and $9.97 / 50.
Both good prices but that is quite a difference for being in the same county.

Walmart prices are not uniform. The prices vary in different locations for many different factors. Walmart factors in the cost of opening the store, local taxes and many other factors when setting the markup for a given location.

Default If you think an Ammo shortage is bad here...

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) Venezuelans scrambled to stock up on toilet paper Thursday as fears of a bathroom emergency spread despite the socialist government's promise to import 50 million rolls.

After years of economic dysfunction, the country has gotten used to shortages of medicines and basic food items like milk and sugar but the scarcity of bathroom tissue has caused unusual alarm.

"Even at my age, I've never seen this," said 70-year-old Maria Rojas. She said she had been looking for toilet paper for two weeks when she finally found it at a supermarket in downtown Caracas.

Thousands of rolls flew off the store's shelves as consumers streamed in and loaded up shopping carts Thursday morning....

Doesn't that make you feel relieved?

Walmart near me had 40 and 9mm yesterday. Did not buy any since I am stocked. Not going contribute to the shortage by buying ammo I might not use for a few months.

I run into a bunch of people in the ammo aisle who have no intention of leaving any ammo on the shelf. One guy has 2000 rounds of 9mm and is still buying what ever he sees.

I have 700 rounds and jut going to ration it over the next months. I hit the range and bring 50 rounds with me and buy a box of 50 at the range. When I get down to 400 I will look for some more.

Also hitting the rang every 3 weeks instead of every 2 weeks.

I hate to say it but maybe a 1 box limit should be put in place until this shortage is over. Feel bad for the folks that can't hit Walmart at 7am when the ammo gets put out.
