I am trying to remember the last time I ever bought ammo at Walmart, it has been a while, I have bought from Ammotogo and Bass Pro during the fall classic, but Walmart has been a while, I might have bought my 9mm plinking ammo there when I bought my XD but that has been years ago. Their selection sucks, their sales people know nothing about firearms, their prices are high, and apparently they don't worry too much about keeping the shelves stocked I don't know why everyone is so worried about Walmart, I get boxes of Core-Lokts and Prvi SP for $5-$7 less then Walmart carries them for.

I really feel bad for you guys that have had bad experiences at Wal-Mart.
I have been able to slowly, I mean SLOWLY build up my inventory over the past three weeks. It seems to be slowly picking up, availability wise.
I have risen early to get in line.
One WM puts it out at 0715 (recently changed from 0515 because some A-Hole started a ruckus and the cops had to be called in) the other puts it out at 1830. Between the two stores I have bought this:

.223 = 28¢/rnd, .40 = 39¢/rnd, 9mm = 24 & 33¢/rnd, .22LR = 9 & 5¢/rnd AFTER TAX!
That's why I lurk the WM ammo shelves!

Walmart app worked for me. App said limited stock so I left right then and there and nothing was there. So I waited for someone then a little ol lady came walking around the corner and said u need 9mm and open the box up and handed me 3 50rd boxes of federal.

I picked up a 555 Win pack of .22s last night. $25.02 w/tax. They had Win 9mm, .38, .40 and .45 all in 100 packs. I shoot all of those except .40. Prices are up 25-33% over prices from November. Way too much for those when I reload my own.

Wish my Walmart was able to get stock like yours...that's for sure....it is hard to best WWB for the price....and I have not been able to buy more than 100 rds. Of .22 at a time anywhere!

I've had bad luck with wwb. It's dirty, inaccurate, and inconsistently loaded. I've seen 2 barrels blown up from wwb. For me, that's not worth saving 3$ a box. To each their own lol

In my limited experience...and it is admittedly limited in the handgun arena...wwb was very accurate...I have put 200 round s of it through my .40 in one day. Two shooters....100 rounds a piece. That same day..used PMC, Herters brass, and one mag of American Eagle. This, was right at the end of break-in and of the for brands that day the the only one that caused any sort of problem was one FTE with the Herters. (that was out of the second mag of the day...14 rd. Mags). And the most accurate round was a toss up between wwb and pmc...but my 40 eats most ammo just fine!

As far as dirty...well that day we put nearly 350 rounds through the gun...it was very dirty...but it was 350 rounds!....I am obsessive with cleaning my firearms...i fully field strip and clean everytime one is fired...10 rounds, 100, 350...does not Matter

Thanks for the info on the app guys. I just started using it last night.
I was able to learn two things

A. I have more ammo in my basement than all the Wal Marts in my area combined. Which isn't a whole hell of a lot.

B. The app will definitely save me some time and $$ hunting in stock ammo.

Thanks again.
