I did not go to Big 5; but, this past Friday did go to Dick's Sporting Goods and they had a treasure trove of ammo selection. It was .22LR love fest!

Let's see the choice of $39.00 500 rounds of .22LR CCI or $450 for 1000 rounds of .223 or $109 for 350 rounds of 9mm.

Any thoughts?

Seems kind of pricy, but if you need it it's cheaper than what people are trying to resell it for.

Better then it's been recently. The .9mm is a decent price considering the #of rounds per. Two of those is two or three range sessions...

It was the blue box, 40 gr for $29.95 for 500 rounds.

They had the 100 round packages for cheap price.

They had the CCI Mini-Mag High Velocity Ammunition Troy Landry Special Edition 22 Long Rifle 36 Grain Plated Lead Hollow Point Box of 375 for $39.95 if I remember. (Too much for my blood)

I purchased the 350 rounds 9mm blazer 115 gr brass for $109 before tax.

Dick's was limited 1 bulk package per customer of any caliber. They're trying to prevent the massive purchases and the one's that do not have firearms that try to turn a profit on the one's that cannot get out due to work.

Basically, give everyone a fair share.

I seen those rats at Sportsman's Warehouse and immediately try and resell after purchasing the ammo for double and triple what they paid for it in the parking lot. They got ran off by security and police.

Then he called the guys in back and had them look and they came back and said there was nothing. Your right. I went to a Walmart maybe a month ago and my app said in stock for 9mm. Well there was none. I started talking to an employee for over an hour about guns. Finally he said he will check under the counter. Sure enough there was two cases of federal 9mm. Unopened. He told me his manager hides them when they come in and his friends buy them. I got pissed and he felt bad so he rung me up three seperate transactions and sold me 9 boxes. So I KNOW Walmart employees are stashing the ammo. That should be fined for that type of stuff. That is not fair.

Now every time I go to Walmart I ask the manager to open the doors under the counter and if they refuse I will call BBB.

Oh and I make sure I look at they're name tag. Usually when they can tell I look at their name they don't give me a hastle opening it. One told me he didn't have to so I wrote his name down in my phone and said I'm going to call. Well he opened it after that and they had .380 and .40 boxes stashed in the back.

One of my local Walmarts had .223, 7.62x39, .380, 9mm Luger, 38 special, 357, .44 mag and of course the hunting rounds. They have a 3 box limit per person per day, I just picked up 3 boxes of 7.62x39 for $5.17 a box of Tula
