Hi,

I have a powder which is Vihtavuori N140. Im looking to load the 7.62x39mm russian with it. Could I use this powder? I found no listing for it. Thinking that its a slow burner. Anyway - Im shooting a 123gr spt thru my AK and wanted to know what charge could I use from this powder. (something tells me to not use it at all) Thank you

As you can see, there are quite a few, some pretty obscure ones. Unfortunately, 7.62x39 isn's amongst them.

I filtered out VV powders suitable for the 7.62x39 and all loads are with N110, N120 and N130 from 57 grain up to 125 grain bullets. N140 is a little too slow.

No you can use N110 N120 and N130 for 123gr N120 is teh only VV powder listed.

Like those body already was telling, VihtaVuori N-120 is the best powder for
7,62x39 caliber. N-140 is too slow for it.
