In checking Ammoguide.com in the powder application chart (the best $19.00 I've spent since I started reloading), the following are suitable cartridges for N140:
1. .19-223 Calhoon 23. 7mm-08 Remington
2. .204 Ruger 24. .30-06 Springfield
3. .22-250 25. .30-30 Winchester
4. .220 Swift 26. .300 Bench Rest Magnum
5. .222 Remington 27. .300 Savage
6. .223 Remington (5.56mm NATO) 28. .308 Winchester (7.62mm NATO)
7. .224 Bench Rest Magnum 29. 7.5mm Swiss
8. 5.6x50 Magnum 30. .303 British
9. 5.6x50R Magnum 31. 7.62x54R Russian/7.62x53 Finnish
10. 5.6x57mm RWS 32. 7.7mm Japanese
11. .22 Savage Hi-Power 33. 8mm Mauser (8x57 JS)
12. .243 Winchester 34. 8mm Mauser Rimmed (8x57 JRS)
13. .244 Remington (6mm Remington) 35. 8x72R Sauer
14. 6mm Benchrest Remington 36. .35 Whelen
15. .25-06 Remington 37. 9.3x74R
16. 6.3x53R Finnish 38. 9.3x57mm Mauser
17. 6.5x55mm Swedish Mauser 39. 9.3x64 Brenneke
18. .260 Remington 40. .375 H&H Magnum
19. 6.5 Benchrest (BR) 41. .375 Tyrvaa (.375-53R)
20. 6.5x57mm Mauser 42. .45-70 Government
21. 7mm Mauser (7x57) 43. .470 Capstick
22. 7mm Ultimate Silhouette 44. .500 MDM Ultra
As you can see, there are quite a few, some pretty obscure ones. Unfortunately, 7.62x39 isn's amongst them.
I filtered out VV powders suitable for the 7.62x39 and all loads are with N110, N120 and N130 from 57 grain up to 125 grain bullets. N140 is a little too slow.
