water is just the medium for the sound waves. the sound waves are what does the cleaning.

if your looking for shiny cases its not going to happen with ultra sonics it just removes dirt and gunk. it will not remove lead or copper fouling

I was told today that you could use vinegar with distilled water as a 50/50 mix....can anybody vouch for that
