I have been offered a small quantity of the T/C .30 superperformance ammo for a decent price

The dude who's offering it tells me it it'll fit in my .308.

That doesn't seem right and I'm skeptical but don't honestly know. Anyone with knowledge please relieve my ignorance.

Eric- have NO personal experience with the 30 T/C. Every thing I have seen on it says shorter than the .308, more energy. I would not try to fire that, but why not ask the folks at T/C ?

Did some research and the Hornady website (Hornady makes the round) considers the T/C .30 a separate round.

My gut's telling me this guy bought them in error and is trying to unload them.

Slightly shorter length, slightly smaller diameter body and rim; the .30 TC isn't interchangable with the .308.

Buy the ammo and get the rifle! Decent round. VG for hunting.
