I store mine in .50 cal and .30 cal ammo cans. Got one for .45, one for .223 and another for shotgun. Also got one that was used to store 60 mm mortor rounds thats as tall as three .50 cal cans stacked. The are great cause they stack, easy to grab and throw in the truck and dont have to work about ammo getting wet and useless if you haul them in the bed of your truck. You can usually get them pretty cheap at army surplus stores. Paid 3 bucks a pop for mine, except the 60 mm mortar can. My dad gave me that one, he was in mortars in the indiana national guard.
