I have never heard of any restrictions on the amount of ammunition that you can store. I say, store as much as you can until they tell you stop.

But if you shoot competitions, they you would need to store alot of ammo anyways for practice and the competitions.

If you were just storing up and not using it, then that is just a waste of some good ammo.
