The first round cycled as usual, and the 2nd round loaded normally. It was until the 2nd round failed to eject that I came off the line and did a quick diagnostic and then my eyes teared up a little bit...

Fyi- The above is a rhetorical question referencing the previous use of sarcasm.

I've run a steady diet of Tula and wolf through my AR since I built it, never one single hiccup. The only time I've ever had a problem with it was a bad primer in the 7.62x39, that and the 308 doesn't group worth a crap.

I had a bad primer in my tula .223. I didn't even fire it. You could tell just by looking at it that the primer was screwed up. "disposed" of the bad one. The other 200 were fine.

I've had misfires, anmd squoibs with Winchesrter, Federal and Remington.

If you shoot long enough, it's going to happen.

I've used a ton of Russian ammo without a problem.

In fact, Colt imports Silver Bear and sells it under the Colt name. Do you think they would sell steel cased, Russian ammo in a box labelled "Colt" if ir was bad for their AR-15?

As far s using cheap ammo in an expensive gun, why would you waste money on premium ammo to "kill" tin cans or pine cones?????

I agree. Lots of Russian ammo with no problems. Not only doesn't it make sense to use expensive ammo for target shooting, but another way to look at it is the expensive guns should be capable of shooting anything......

I have shot upwards of 6000+ rds of Tul, Brown Bear and others without any major issues other than some light primer strikes . I was helping on the firing line of a recent CCW class and we had a squib . The guy was in the middle of the group and almost everyone stopped shooting as it got most everyones attention . Just another reason to pay attention to your surroundings
