The Speer non-toxic frangible 45 also has the small primers. I get these by the thousand so I hang on to them. With the current primer situation, I find it easier to get small pistol primers than large. The small primed brass enables me to keep shooting when primer supplies get low.
It seems to me the only Non-toxic ammo made for handguns is in 9mm, 40 and 45. They can make one kind/ size of primer and use it in all three. The Speer non-toxic .223 brass is very easy to reload. Easy to re-size. Pressures may be lower than standard ammo. I believe they make non-toxic .308 also. It would be interesting to see if they use small primers for those.
In life, strive to take the high road....It offers a better field of fire.
