When it comes to reloading shotshells, the real result is that you will not save money. You will load better quality and quantity of ammo but in the end will spend the same or more than you would for factory ammo. Ive stopped loading mine because the cheap fed stuff works just fine for anything i use my shotguns for. Of course, that is my own personal experience and yours may vary.

Rotometals has a variety of shot. They even have reclaimed shot that should work fine for general purposes. A good wad will still probably yield better patterns than the bargain basement generic "dove and quail" loads.

I just looked at Powder Valley at $41/25lb, I don't know if they will work a deal for bulk buy.

Loading shot shells quit being a savings 5 years ago. The last shot I bought was $12.00 a bag . I shot over 15,000 registered targets in 2005 in 2011 I quit all of it after 41 years .
I think the year I shot the most I bought 1.5 ton of shot . When i started shooting trap shot was $3.25 a bag .
Here in Indiana shot is $40.00 or more plus tax .
