I just picked up 3000 rounds of the Greek stuff in bandoliers/M1 clips this spring. It makes my Garand smile.

Don't notice it as much as with bolt run 03s or 1917s. Guess somewhere in the 3K range left, and will save it for a rainy day, and do reloads. Majority is Greek with about four cans of LC. Last bought was Greek in banderleers in 30 Cal. GI cans. Others in sealed tins. Got to be hoardes of the stuff out there in private ownership!
This is what I'm talking about. Browning .30cal Aircraft MG.

Ahah, thought about an air cooled .30, but what would a mud Marine know about taking down aircraft. Did get some air cooled 30 time in, but put more time in with a BAR. Once comfortable with that, a complete small arms weapon adaption occured, and I ended up with a scoped, bolt run, Winchester, with a couple of different scopes, until a Redfield stayed together, and refused to fog up. Wish I had some of the 06 Match ammo that ran through it, or even the black tipped AP that was next best for accurate down range!
