round count
well i thought this might ease the mood a little. got to thinking today about how much we shoot per year. for the wifey and i combined.
for 2012:
2500(aprox.) .223<<us
700 .40 SW<<me minus 10 rnds for her
2900 .22lr<<<us
15 20GA<< me
200 9mm<<us
120 .308<< me
39mm 500<<us
54r 150<<me
man we spent some dough on ammo... but oh so worth it!!

I hear ya, started reloading around mid-year and just took notice of how many 500 round boxes I've run through in 4-5 months.
Worth every penny, because my wife shoots right along side of me.

Have you priced out a decent reloading kit??
RCBS has a nice starter kit that's very inexpensive.

I bought my RCBS rockchucker kit localy because of their great service. But you can get the same kit on Amazon for a little over $300. All you would really need are the dies and componets. Obviously this is just a starting kit and you will eventually buy "extras" to make your life easier. But I bought mine a few months ago and im setting it up this week because I will have nine free days off of work and will be able to spend some quality time with it. The only thing I really need is a tumbler to clean the brass and I will be in business.

9mm - 600
303 british - 20
32 S&W long - 50
223 - 100
45 ACP - 75
