I have shot 750 rounds of Remington 9mm and at least 2000 rounds of their .22 in the last year and have not had a misfire. Most of the .22 was in a Marlin model 60.

I have no doubt there may be some quality control issues over the coming months as they like everyone else have producing to their max capacity but so far I have been lucky.

I wouldn't walk across the street for a bucketfull of their bulk .22lr ammo. I do like and use the viper .22lr ammo.

I have shot hundreds of 30-06 and .243 Cor-Lokt ammo and it has never done anything but work. I have never lost a deer when I shot it with Cor-Lokt ammo. It may not be their best but it is very effective from my experience. I wouldn't call it junk ammo because of an issue with one round. The way ammunition companies are trying to keep up with demand these days its a wonder there hasn't been more issues like this.

I'm also not as picky as I used to be when it comes to restocking my shelves. I get what I can find.

I have seen more failures from Remington's CRAP ammo. I never buy it never will nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I like Remington ammo. I have never had a problem with it. Sorry about your gun. I think it probably was a hot load from the factory. It does happen and I'm sure alot of people have experienced this a couple of times. But one bad bullet out of thousands doesn't mean they are all bad. If you have more problems with the rest of the bullets then I would call the company and let them know. Also check the primer pocket. Maybe it was over sized andtoo loose inside the brass.

I don't hunt either. Nothing against it, and I want to, it's just that I had to sell my rifles to help see me through a divorce and job loss. I intend to rectify that situation as soon as possible, but it's looking like I'll be missing out on this year's season too.
I've used it but it is not the best you can get. But for the money it does pretty well. You can hunt with it but you wont win any target competitions with it.

Yeah, I've not had many guns that would do real well with their 22 ammo. They have a high velocity round that works OK but I"d rather use other stuff. The Center Fire stuff isn't too bad though

core lockt bullets have a big reputation of fragmenting.
