Default Remington bullet setback

Just bought a box of Remington .30 carbine, and opened the box to find this...

Heres a picture of the cartrige in question on the right with a couple normal ones on the left.

I've heard that this creates pressure spikes ad is unsafe. Should I take it back for a new box?
Looks like with all the extra ammo production, a few manufacturers are relaxing on quality control? Has anyone else found this in their boxes of factory ammo?

Yelsew,

You are correct! DO NOT SHOOT IT!
Just out of curiosity. Was that the location it was in when you opened the box. Or could it have been on the corner or the box showed signs of damage? But never the less I would take the box back for exchange. And when you do compare the lot numbers on the boxes. The other rounds in your box could possibly have an incorrect crimp on the cases. Which could possibly cause some of the other cartridges to recess in the case when being loaded from the magazine into the chamber?

It was three rounds from the end and the box looked undamaged. Regardless, im taking it back for a new box, and ill inspect the whole box before i bring it home this time.

Just went to the store i got the box from and the guy behind the counter, who I had just watched tell a guy that his revolver was superior to a 1911, was trying to tell me the round was completely safe and would cause no problems at all.... Yeah, i got another guy who knew something about firearms to gladly exchange my box for a new one.
