I am an NRA Pistol Instructor and NC Certified Firearms Instructor, former Law Enforcement. This could have taken her eye out and was a severe example of not wearing safety glasses. I will never again use remanufactured ammo.
As I read this again I am convince he is a troll.

With this single sentence, he managed to put the NRA and it's firearms training programs along with the LE Community on the "Incompetent" list. By this sentence he is telling us and anyone that will listen that the NRA instructors and Law Enforcement personnel are incapable of safe firearm handling and instruction.

Not a hand gun but an 70s SP1 with just a few rounds through it. Case broke about half inch from head but not completely. If I had the A1 upper on it I might have got a brass in the face. the deflector handled it on the A2 upper. Cases have flattened primers and look maybe a bit stretched. Go no go gauges are fine in the chamber though. Firing pin indentation is deep too. Supposedly new rounds. too much powder and too soft primers I hope is all.

Sounds like a piece of defective brass. Happens, even with factory new brass.

Reading primers is akin to reading tea leaves as far as pressure is concerned.
