Default Reloading Equipment question

I saw an ad on craigslist for a bunch of reloading equipment listed below:

30/06 Factory Crimp Die
Universal Decapping Die
Hornady M-2 Case tumbler
270 Win Factory Crimp Die
30/06 Deluxe Rifle Die sex
Lee Anniversary Reloading Kit
270 Win case length gauge
30/06 case length gauge
48th Edition Reloading Handbook
Modern Reloading 2nd Edition

I've been wanting to get into reloading but never wanted to even come close to spending the money on all the stuff. The guy wants to trade 3 cords of firewood and I have more than that lying around at work...my question is do you guys think that's worth a trade?

If you can get a face cord for that price, buy all you can get.
Around here hardwood is 100-125 a face.

$300 is still on the cheap side for a cord. BTW, a Cord of wood is 4x4x8 feet.
Many a person confuses a face cord (not a legitimate measure of wood) with
a cord of wood (a common and set volume of wood or pulp) A general rule is
a face cord is ~1/3 cord. But there is no set value.

3 cord of wood for that list of equipment is a rip off for you.

Be back in a minute.

30/06 Factory Crimp Die ....................... $9.50
Universal Decapping Die ........................ $8.00
Hornady M-2 Case tumbler .................. $74.00
270 Win Factory Crimp Die .................... $9.50
30/06 Deluxe Rifle Die sex ...................$22.50
Lee Anniversary Reloading Kit ............ $105
270 Win case length gauge ................... $5
30/06 case length gauge ...................... $5
48th Edition Reloading Handbook ......... $20
Modern Reloading 2nd Edition ............. $20

Total new pricing ................................. $278.50

His stuff I assume is used not new. So is worth 1/2 to 2/3 of new pricing.

Just my opinion. 3 cord of wood is worth $750-900, sell the wood to paying
customers and buy your own equipment new.

Shade is giving you sound advice. It appears to me that the only complete combination you are getting is the 30-06 set. The .270 set is not complete. If you are not familar with reloading equipment becareful. The dies can be damaged and the press needs a close inspection.
