That was a freebie, was kinda slow at work on day so I went with the delivery guy down to the local college to drop off some printed forms. There were about five office chairs setting out on the dock in various forms of disrepair so I ask the guy in charge what they were going to do with them to which he replied throw them away if you want one you can have it.

The one I got was like brand new and only had a broken caster socket so I threw it in the truck took it home put a new caster in the socket and filled the end in with JB Weld and let it set up for a few days and it's as good as new. Got me a nice office chair worth about $100 buck for a tube of JB Weld.

Standard NRMA bench
Plans www.shotgunsportsmagazine.com/downloads/bench_plans.pdf
My alterations/additions
1. Could not find plastic door track, used 1 strip of 1/4 inch aluminum channel with wood stop for front.
2. Hole drilled for center shelf light, really helps me see under there.
3. Added folding Tumbler Shelf on left side using chain/piano hinge.
4. Used 1/4 holes spaced at 1" for shelf support (required increase in shelf dimensions )

I have a separate steel front, barrister style cabinet for storage.

still may add doors to the front center and lower opening ? thoughts.

I was concerned that there were mistakes, and no errata for these plans.
Only found one mistake in the printed material.

The second page "Suggestion" text under the Bench Plywood list.
Suggestion: Three 4'x8' sheets of 3/4" plywood for
. the above pieces, plus the 3/4":1/4" pieces
. ror the cabinet. See cutting guide.

And indeed, the Cutting Guide illustration is properly labled 1/4"

If I were to do this again, I would treat it more like a woodworking cabinet project. (Solid edge band on exposed plies, Watch grain and color tone of woods)

Nice reloading bench there KG7IL. I had hoped to build me one just like it but times are kinda tough right now so I ended up with a $15 office desk for the Habitat Resell store. Nice workshop as well, from the looks of things it seem you can pretty much cover about any project.
