Well here it is!! Before it gets mountains of goodies piled onto it i figured i would take a pic of my first bench build. Cost me $18.00, and took roughly 10-12 hours to build it from da ground up!
My job always has building mats kickin around which def. comes in handy for alot of crap i decide to build. Its composed of 3/4in. marine grade plywood, Douglas Fir 4x4 legs, and Bandera for the trim( this stuff is so damn hard hickory would be proud of it).
The rear legs are about 3deg. aft and the front legs are approx. 30deg. forward, so you could basically throw a elaphant on the front edge of it and it still wouldnt tip.
Under the press itself i fabricated a 90deg. x 3/16in thick alum. bracket that secures the area around the press itself, and tapped a bolt into the front face that lays against the cylinder housing for support.
It took quite abit of doing, but the wife let me have it upstairs in the main part of the house in my office

sooo figured id make it atleast look kinda decent. After the poly dried and she saw it, she was happy with it and so am i.

Thanx for all you guys's info and inspiration ~Capn~
