Is a 230gr fmj round nose the same as a 230gr fmj round nose?

Manual? The "The ABCs of Reloading" I assume is a guide and the press will have it's manual obviously... not sure what you are referring to, please explain.
The difference is kinda like the difference between a Kia and a Mercedes, Quality.

The ABCs of reloading is a manual that will explain the process in great detail. It covers far more info than the instruction book with the press covers. Things you really need to know.

A good reloading manual like the Lyman or Speer is also a very good investment in addition to the ABCs. You can never have too much information.

Congrats, Bruce. That one is truly super. I used a 650 for over 20 years.

After watching this video I'm wondering why I should not get a turret press.

I have a Lee turret loader. So far it has worked great for loading 556/223. I am starting 40 cal soon. I wanted a Dillion press but did not have the money and was suggested to start cheaper anyway. The lee is a good press for the money and you can sell it and upgrade later like I plan to.

Are you asking full factory round to just the projectile? The question is too vague.

I have a lee 100th anniversary challenge kit and I've reloaded over 3000rds of 40S&W, 2500rds of 45ACP, 50rds of 30-30 WIN, and 150rds of 30-06SPR and its still going I really like the kit. If I had the money though I would get the dillon 650 but that won't be under $400 or $500 unfortunately.

Sorry i should have clarified. I have some 230 gr Winchester fmj round nose and in none of my books do they have load data i tried 10 rounds at minimal loads and they cycled fine. Yesterday i picked up a 250 pack of berry? 230 gr fmj i would assume they will be fine since their same weights but want to here it from the pros

What manuel do you have? I have loaded the berry 230gr and the function and are very accurate I shot 6 staples in a row at 5yards out of a ruger sr1911 of course w/ the right col and powder measure of course. My favorite powder to use with them is bullseye from alliant.

I find the "Lee will do until you get a real press" attitude somewhat condescending. While Lee doesn't have quite the "Cool Factor" of some other brands, many thousands of people have reloaded millions of rounds of perfectly good ammo on Lee equipment.
