I have loaded some sabots in the X39. I never had the cajones to crank them up hot enough to cycle either of my rifles. I stick to the .308 and .30-06 for the sabots

Just a regular old .308 sabot with a Sierra 52 gr. flat base HP bullet and a standard load of 25.5 grs. of Reloader #7,I've never really tried to work up an accuracy load.

It cycles fine through my Chinese SKS like any other rd. and give pop can accuracy at 50 yds. which is basically the range I intended to shoot them at. I think I could get better accuracy if somebody would make a sabot in .310 dia.

I need to get some more sabots,Ive shot up all the ones I had.
