Default RCBS Question

Hello,
I am new to reloading (I have never done it). My father in law handed down his RCBS Rock Chucker (from the 60's-70's). I guess my question is, are there still dies available for this press? I have checked out the RCBS website and it appears that the press has been updated and changed (I would hope so after 40+ yrs) any responses would be welcomed!

The Rock Chucker is an excellent single stage press. Almost any die will fit the press, I use Lee and RCBS dies in mine.

These take the standard dies 7/8x14 . The very first Rock chucker is just as good as the last. They are all built in the factory in Oroville Ca but men and women who love to shoot and hunt.

It should have a black nut inserted in the die postion. If you take that out and order Hornady Lock and load die inserts it will make changing dies quick fast and easy as pie.

Default RCBS single stage

I have an RCBS single stage and I can load just as fast on it as I can my Hornady 5 stage progressive. And hold closer tollerances.. I use Lee, hornady and RCBS dies in it..

Be sure to buy a reloading manual unless you already have one.

If you have any problems, look up RCBS call their customer service, it is excellent, and still have parts for your Rock Chucker, bought mine in 1974 still working.
