Question about Mule Snot
 

So my Lee 452 230 gr TC bullets, lubed with Lee Liquid Alox, shot great with no leading at all in my XDm. What I did notice, is a hell of a lot of smoke and a peculiar odor that was no doubt the Alox (it actually kinda smelled like the LLA does).

Is this a sign that I had too much lube on the bullets? I lubed twice, once before sizing and once afterwards. I only used a tiny bit initially, and suspect I may have used too much for the final lube.

It was still very cool, given it was my first time to ever shoot bullets that I had cast :D
