You could use some Trail Boss? From what I understand its impossible to overpressure..

Hornady makes a 110gr Spire point .308 for .308. They run just under 3000fps. Makes for a fun vermin round.

Hornady makes .312 bullets which will be well suited for the OP. 150 and 174gr.

For a light plinker/small game load in my Mosin M44 bored dia. .312 I use the Hornady .314 Lead SWC with a light coat of Lee Alox for good measure loaded over 5 grs. of Bullseye,five shot groups are about quarter size at 25 yds. that's as far as I have tested it. MV is about the same as standard 22 HV ammo 3.5 grs. will get you right at subsonic. I load the bullet with about 1/32 of the bearing surface exposed above the case neck and use a very light roll crimp.
