WOC I wondered the same thing out of my .40 cal because I want the threat to stop right away without having to worry about over penetration and having close neighbors , So I went with a 165 instead of a 180 gr PDX1 , I hvae to believe that even if it went completely thru a person most all of its energy would be dissipated

WOC: You may find a bunch of interesting reading at Old Painless' website.

Enjoy!

I might look into that. I haven't had many good experiences with shotguns yet.

Sorry everyone, can't resist anymore.

"That's what she said."

Sorry, I stopped maturing at age 14.

I don't know about .357 defense rounds but for my glock 21 that is next to my bed all night loaded has federal HST +p in it. I chose those for the same reason. Didn't want over pen because my 2 yr old daughter is right by my bedroom. And from the expansion tests I seen done with them made me feel good about em. And my nines have HST, horn crit def, and gold dots.

Well, maybe drag it outside first and THEN shoot it. Shoot it in the house?

I'm not so sure about that but thank you, PanBaccha.
