Oregon Laser Cast
Anyone ever use the Oregon Laser Cast bullets? (Specifically 240gr SWC .429) Any feedback on performance is appreciated.

I have shot a couple of thousand rounds of the lazercast in Cowboy action shoots. I shoot 158 grn RNFP in .358. I have no leading problems with them.
I am shooting these at .38 special velocities(<1000 fps).

I have used many of them in 350gr 45-70 loads and they work great as long as I don't push them past 1600 fps.

I used the 200gr RN 45 cal for a while because they were a lot cheaper than Rainer 200gr RN platted. I never had a problem with them. Keep the velocites down so as to not lead the barrel.

They sent me a sample pack free of charge. They were the 240gr 44cal swc . They looked really good and using the scratch test were plenty hard to load them to over 1000 fps. Drop them a line and I'm sure they'll return your quieries.:)

357 maximum shoots them OK
I use the 180 grain for my 357 maximum. No leading and quite accurate. I highly recommend them

I cast my own and custom blend the lead for the desired velocity. Softer for the Cowoy Action loads and Linotype for the rifles. I do sell them. Drop me a PM and we'll talk.

Lasercast are great bullets. I've shot them at 1700 fps from my two win 94 rifles in .357 & 44 mag with no leading. They are advertised to shoot at jacketed velocities with no leading & I've found that to be true. BHN is 24. They also have a very good load manual specificaly for the the Lasercasts that I got & have have had good results with. I cast my own for low velocity loads but for high velocity it's getting hard to find linotype at a price below what the Lasercasts cost & the Lasercasts are better than linotype. My local dealer stocks all the Lasercasts except my favorite one which is their 30 cal 170 grain rifle bullet. I've had a couple of boxes of 500 shipped to me & they've worked well with loads in 30-30, 30-06, 7.55 swede, .308 & 7.62x54R. I also got a little crazy after the 7.62R loads shot well from my Mosins & I loaded some in .303 & got decent plinking accuracy.
