Yes, much better than relying on dead invaders.

28 on, 28 off. Plenty time for shooting, but renovating my farmhouse sure eats up some time. But when its done I'll be shooting off the back porch.

The situation has gotten so crazy, that we have people come in every day, and try to pre-pay for ammo that we might not have for weeks. We wont do that (at least as far as i know...) I think its going to be a long time before things get back to normal. We could make a few ph calls, and sell a skid of 9mm (20,000rnds) its nuts....When we do start getting regular shipments again, the horders will probably keep us cleaned out for weeks, or months...

Hand loader here.. So I've never been short of ample resources to feed my hobby...

As for calibers I don't hand load for; I just buy a couple of boxes at a time every payday when we do our shopping. Over a period of a year factory ammo tends to add up pretty quick.

That is what I used to think was a lot of ammo!

I'm a handloader as well. I have enough supplies on hand to make around 1000 rounds of 9mm, which is what I shoot most often, besides 22. I also have about 1500 or so rounds of 22. I don't think either is enough, but given that I can rarely find reloading supplies and can never find 22, its good enough for now. We just shoot more modestly.

In terms of the future, I will be buying a box of my favorite calibers whenever I'm somewhere that has them at a reasonable price. I will also be buying more reloading supplies, at a moderate rate.

I'd like to stress something to everyone. The only thing which will get us out of this crisis is if every one starts exercising moderation. Stop buying all you can find and hoarding it. That will only extend the crisis. If you just buy one or two extra boxes at a time, it will help everyone else out a lot.

That in mind, when the ammo starts coming back on the shelves, please don't buy it out again just because you happen to be there. Buy what you need for shooting and maybe a box or two extra and we'll all be fine.

I keep trying to tell people this was a while ramping up in some respects and unless and until the constant threat against our basic rights the Party of the Left has doubled-down on vs. law-abiding citizens, coupled with obvious daily bold-faced lies, has ended this ammo run will never quite go away ever again and will be too long just improving to reach a new equilibrium.

Every American now knows the Left has always been lying and intends to disarm us all. Half admit it to others. 29% think it all ends with an inevitable civil uprising.

Imagine how bad it would be if more Americans could actually AFFORD to invest in more or ANY ammo supplies these days!!!

Damn RG, you sure know how to excite a person

I had a prep plan, that was going very well... right up until the time I added yet another caliber to the mix. Hoping to see market conditions change sometime in the next year
