Default Old 'live' primers.

I just acquired a used Lee Pro 1000 today I bought it from a person on craigslist. It's an older model and it wasn't stored correctly so I'll have some questions on some rusty parts that I'll snap pictures of and post shortly. Also, in the box was some blue plastic bullet boxes and some old 'live' primers.

There is no way of knowing how old the primers are. Some where between 1991-2011..? I was wondering how to safely dispose of those old live primers. The person didn't store them in factory box just kept them in the primer tray and cover of the reloader.

Soak them in some penetrating oil and throw them in the trash.

Pile them all up in the street in front of your house. Then YELL really loud "Hey ya'll Wachis" so the neighbors come running. When you've drawn a large enough crowd, take the largest hammer you own and take a really big swing, and slam down on those old primers. Don't forget to wear goggles unless you want to receive the 2012 Darwin awards 8-)

I would put them into cases and just use them as lout snap caps. More fun that pouring oil all over the place then polluting the environment by improperly disposing of them in the trash.
