It's largely a sales gimmick. There is a reason that lead has been used to make bullets since the beginning of guns.

I would strongly recommending using ammunition for self defense that is used by your local police, Sheriff's Department or State Police.

Having to explain before a jury WHY you wanted MORE DEADLY..superman ammo....and they would show their ads....is much harder to explain than I used the same ammo the local police use.

OOOH! The web page is soooo tacticool. A bunch of hype and BS combined to tell the savy gunner to stay away. +1 on using the ammo used by the local LEO's. Using special or homebrewed ammo is a bad idea for home defense. My vote, Speer Gold Dot's. They work, period.
