Is Norma Ammo Really any Better??
I bought a few boxes of norma ammo for my Arisaka and my Mosin last weekend, and was wondering if norma is really better than other ammo...
(I paid $45 for the 2 boxes of 7.62x54, $15 for a box of 7.7x58, so I dont think I did to bad... I only cared about it being reloadable)
Is it "match" grade like Lapua? Or is norma just really proud of their products?

for some rounds norma and lapua are the only options the cases are very high quality and your paying for it. the demand isnt high for a lot of that stuff but for the folks that want reloadable cases for oddball stuff they will extract their toll for providing hard to get items.
i just said f-it and ponied up for some reloadable lapua for my mosin sniper it was a lot cheaper than buying the loaded reloadables.
ive got norma brass for my 458 lott its pretty high quality and uniform

I don't have any experience with their recent stuff. But my father swore by Norma brass & ammo. It was top shelf. Nowadays, not sure, but I'd think it's still pretty good.

I bought some Wolf ammo for my Mosin that was reloadable. It cost less than empty new brass. I haven't reloaded it yet so I have no idea how many times it can be used.

Wolf Gold is nothing more then Privi Partizan in a Wolf box. Look at the headstamp on the case. I have found Privi to be under powered in some calibers. Norma is still top notch ammo.
You will pay more for Wolf, must be a hell of a box. nny is prvi.

I've used Norma brass for my k31's and I have to say it some of the best brass I've used. I've also used the graf brass which is the privi stuff. After about 6 reloads i starting getting split necks only neck sizing the brass. So far Ive reloaded the Norma brass about 14 times and no failures yet of course I'm only neck sizing though.
