Newb and need help with Ammo
I just purchased a Springfield XDM 9-mm and need your input on ammo. I have not owned a firearm for a number of years and your input is appreciated. What I am looking for is:
1 Recommendation for inexpensive range rounds
2 Self defense rounds.
I have seen some bulk deals on the web (Cabelos, etc) offering deals on Winchester, Remington and Wolf.
Also any opinions on Fiocchi .22 round for target practice?
Thanks in advance for you help,

- Range rounds inexpensive would be Blazer 9mm 115 gr. The average price was 10.99 for a box 50 at Sprotsman's Warehouse (When the have them). Walmart did have them; however, good luck - either they are cutting back or the personnel are not ordering (hard to say).
- I have Federal Premium Personal Defense 134 gr Hydra-Shok JHP. Average 20 rounds per box.
Good luck in the hunt for the defense rounds, majority of the shops are either on back order.

As of this time, the BEST 2 rounds for self defense in regards to bullet terminal performance are Winchester Ranget SXT +P, and Speer Gold Dot +P or +P+.

Yea I post that info when I get their email but lately they sell out in a day or two! Get on their email list and when they get the stuff in you can get it while they have it.
