today i bought a dillon 1050,it comes with 223 set up that i will be using later when the weather warms up.But right now i am shooting a lot of 45acp so i need to set it up for that.i know i need a 45 conversion set but will my redding 45 dies fit in the dillon?the redding dies arent set up to charge powder through the die.

+1 Generally non-Dillon dies have to be screwed all the way down to work in the thicker dies head of the Dillon press. I am speaking from the reference of the RL-450 as I (unfortunately) do not have a 1050. Threads are the same.

Congrats on your 1050. My suggestion would be to get a complete caliber conversion kit for .45ACP and use your existing dies for working up new loads on your single press. For the most part, I use all Dillon dies in all my conversion kits.
