Need help finding .45 colt "mankiller?" wadcutter hollowpoints
Howdy all,
I was wondering if anyone knows about these bullets I ran across on the internet. I lost the info for them. It was a custom loader company, I forget the name(of course). They had a .45 Colt bullet that appeared to be a jacketed hollowpoint wadcutter as best as I could descibe it. the bullet was straight wall with maybe and 1/8 of it exposed lead, and a hollow point, it looked like it might have a nub in the center like a hydroshock. I think they called it a mankiller? maybe a defense round. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Tallon |
This them? DoubleTap Ammunition

Not quite, think of a semi-jacketed hollowpoint but then streach it into a wadcutter.

Well, not really and it's a .45 (long)colt load.
Thanks though.... |
They are called "Manstoppers" and are available from Northwest Custom Projectile. They are a semi-jacketed 260gr HP-WC with a hex-shaped cavity with a center post.
