My Lee Tumble Lube cast bullets are too big
I thought these could be used without resizing.
I was getting bulges in the cases, and when I checked the bullets with a micrometer, the base (the last ring) was slightly bigger than the rest of the rings/bullet. For example, the .357 was .357-.358 in diameter until the base, which was .360-.364.
I thought maybe a defective mold, but I checked the 9mm version of the same mold, and it had the same problem.
Have I done something wrong?
Here is the mold I used
Lee 6-Cavity Bullet Mold TL358-158-2R 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 38 Colt New Police (358 Diameter) 158 Grain Tumble Lube 2 Ogive Radius
Thanks in advance for any insight.
