Default mosin nagant bullets

does anyone know where i can find the bullets for the mosin? im not talking about loaded rounds. i heard they are .311 in diameter and cant find them anywhere, i want to reload for my mosin sniper

7.62 is .3 inches. If I'm not mistaken. But hell I've been wrong before.... Just ask my wife

haha i thought they were alittle bigger or smaller then normal 30 cal bullets, but i could be wrong

I'm fairly certain the are .311, I've heard they are harder to come by.

IIRC, the Russian Mosins are .311. The Finnish Mosins are closer to .308.

really? so it would be safe to use 30 cal bullets in my finnish mosin?

You would need to "slug" your barrel to know for sure.

^ That's the best answer you could get. Slug it to be safe. I looked up the specs, and some Mosins come close to .308, some are .309, and others are .310, and .311.
