mixing ammo brands,no no or ok?

got to thinking tonight bout my gun 350 miles south sitting min my buddy's sisters attic,it made me :(..but then a question popped in my head
I have a small box of Remington 9mm rounds setting in the pistol case and 2 clips loaded up and ik one of them has a mix of Ruger and Remington ammo in it...is it ok/good to use diff brand ammo(ruger & remington) in the same clip?

Mixing ammo

Yes it's ok as long as your not shooting target. The point of impact may change slightly when mixing brands but if your just plinking cans then let the lead fly anyway you want.

It should be fine. You might get a different point of impact with the different brands however. Along with the possibility of different recoil with each brand.
