I just got some new magazines I ordered in the mail and it looks like the date and some other weird number is stamped on them, I haven't ever seen this on my normal one so what does this mean?

mags for what? May be LEO/mil mags made during the ban. Most handgun mags made during this period were stamped LE only. I have seen a number of AR-15/M-16 mags that simply had a date stamp indicating they were ban mags. They are legal to own now that the ban expired.
