Currently carrying Golden Saber .40 in my off-duty Glock 27 and Glock 23. Happy with the round, but always up for trying new products. I tried PDX-1 from Winchester last weekend, however didn't care very much for it. It seemed inconsistent and not as accurate as the GS. What .40 JHP have you had the best results with?

I had heard really good things about the PDX-1. I was disappointed with the powder inconsistency. It is possible I may have got a bad box. I'm considering trying another box from a different vendor. A fellow LEO stated the FBI had adopted the PDX-1 as their carry round, so it may have been a bad batch I purchased.
For a premium round to have a bad batch is unusual. You pistol may not like it. Have you looked at the Hornady Critical Defense. I have not tried it in 40 but it shoots well in my P238 which is .380 caliber and my .357. I have been running XTP in my other pistols with no problems.

The Federal HST is the best SD round currently available, IMHO. I carry them in my 45 and in my 9mm when I carried it. Accuracy has been good and consistant for me. Give them a try and see if your gun likes them.

That's what I thought about PDX. I'm going to give them another try this weekend. I carried the critical defense in 45 for a short time, they were accurate. Currently the local shops aren't stocking them in .40. I liked the XTP as well, they performed superb before I traded my 10mm Glock off. Ammo prices are a killer if you don't reload.
I've asked 2 local Shops to order HST. I've heard outstanding reviews and have really been wanting to try them. Glad to hear another pleased user. Hopefully I'll be able to share that opinion soon if they ever come in.
