Default Looking for an expert on old ammo

Recently, a friend gave me some old ammo and I have 2 questions about it:
#1 Is it safe to use?
#2 Would it have any value for a collector?
Description:
A. Winchester Western WWX 50 Center Fire Pistol-Revolver Cartridge. X380AP, 380 Automatic, 95gr Full Metal Case, 50 Pistol-Revolver Cartridges.
B. Made by Olin Corp, Winchester-Western Division, New Haven, CT. 06511 East Alton, IL. 62024.
C. Cartridges are packed loose in a white box and, someone wrote the date, 5/10/84, on outside of box

Does any one have any insight about this, thanks.

It is Winchester Western 380 auto ammo. You can find it all over the place.

At 25 years old, I'd suggest it's worth about what new .380 ammo is going for, or a bit less. In another 50 years or so, it MIGHT be attractive to some collector. IMHO.

I'd put it in that 380 you've got in your sig and use it for practice.
