The way I have always done my test loads,is to start at the bottom of the recommended charge, and work my way up at 1/2 grain units.
Once you find a load/loads that shoot good, then you can start fine tuning the load to your gun.
I always load up 3 bullets for each powder charge. If it doesn't shoot good with 3,it is just wasting supplies shooting more.

Some rifles shoot better at the lower end of the powder range, others in the middle, and others like the hot charges.
Find out what your rifle likes, and don't trust what someone else shoots in their guns.
I know it and I'm not doing other people loads I was just wanting see what powder others use and loads others use but i will not try them I just wanted a ballpark of powders to look in to

When I bought my 06,I was already into reloading. At that time my old Lyman book listed an "accuracy" load for 150 gr. jacketed,as 60 gr. of IMR 4350 ,vel 3039 fps.50,900 cup.
I started using this load with 150 gr Sierra's and was quite satisfied for 20 years. I have since found that in my rifle ( Win.Mod.70) that I get better results (read groups) with Hornady SSTs.
From my rifle velocities run 3050+ fps.with no pressure signs.
** This load shows pressure signs in some rifles, and is no longer shown in the new Lyman book**
