K got my bench today and mounted my press this evening only to notice the channel in the ram does not line up with the groove for the primer plate. Is this normal?

Thanks. question 2 lol. Why is it hard to seat a primer? I am reloading lake city cases that where reloaded 1 time and crimp ring removed. I set 3 primers and all 3 where stubborn as heck. Do I need to try to reswage the pockets?
that doesnt look correct to me...mine sits looking straight out. The primmers should seat with only minor resistance...so i would try redoing the primer pocket.
This doesnt show it well because the ram is down...but i think you can get the gist of it.
