Does anyone have a good source for shot? Rotometals has it for just under $2/lb delivered. I was looking to save a bit more money. It looks like metal prices are up and affecting the shot prices. Cabelas is an hour drive for me so not worth it.

Do you shoot enough to justify a Littleton or Stewart shot maker to make your own?

I actually made up an adapter for one of my lead furnaces (bottom pour) that I played with for awhile, and was able to crank out some pretty decent shot. Only thing is, I don't shoot enough shotgun to make it worthwhile for me to deal with it.

I have thought about getting into making my own. A buddie has a machine, but I never heard how well it worked.

I haven't bought a bag of shot in a long time, so not much help there...

Powder Valley has shot for $39 a bag, but the shipping would get you. Think I'd hit that buddy of yours up about making it.
