.22 LR is approaching too.

Look here in the future before buying. This will give you an idea of what the going price levels to expect. You can't always buy over-the-counter for these prices but adding about 20% will get you close.

That price is from 2007 at the very latest. 100 round boxes of WWB are about $25 at Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart's prices are pretty standard across the country... I'm fairly sure the same item isn't going to go for different amounts in different parts of the country. You can exclude state sales tax because it is never enough to account for the difference you guys are talking about.

Gentleman, this is how they are going to get us gun lovers. Obama wants to put a 50% tax on Ammo, why do you thinK Home Security Bought Billions Of rounds after Sandy Hook to slow down the Ammo line? If your not reloading now then stop shooting till you stockpile if that is even possible in the future.

There are two Walmarts in Grand Junction. They are on opposite sides of town. One is near the lower income area. We call it the ghetto Walmart. The prices are not the same on a lot of items. I haven't really looked at ammo much. But they had the 100 pack if CCI mini-mags for almost $8. That seem high. But I haven't bought 22lr in a long time. So maybe not bad. But the Ghetto walmart really is cheaper than the one on the nice side of town. And the ghetto one is more entertaining at night. The wal-martians are really much more colorful there
