Default Hornady auto powder dispenser.

I was wondering....
Do any of you use this machine for the smaller pistol loads?
All of the videos I have seen show it being used for larger loads such as rifle or the 44 mag. Other than the size of the loads I can't see any reason not to use it.
I would like to get rid of separate scale and dispenser and go with one unit. I currently reload with my brother in law at his home and I want to create a loading bench at my home....where my range is.
Any thoughts or recommendations?

I've never tried to use mine for small charges. It sucks bad enough for rifle loads, I rarely ever use mine. I can throw and measure loads faster by hand, and know they are exact every time.
The electronic dispensers aren't very reliable for real accuracy.

I have the RCBS Chargemaster 1500 powder dispenser and have used it for small caliber loads but it takes forever to get any number of brass charged and as Txhillbilly mentioned, the accuracy is not very good. For charge accuracy, on small caliber, I use the Harrells Precision Schuetzen/Pistol measure. It has a very high degree of accuracy and is much faster. I still check every 10th charge via scale but rarely find any variation in weight.

The Harrells powder drop is the best you can get!
